Nashua celebrates 40 years since the company first started operating in South Africa and looks to firmly establish itself as not only a market leader in office automation, but also Managed Document Services. This is the company’s first step towards shifting its focus from products to Managed Document Services (MDS). Nashua sponsors golfing sensation Ernie Els, launching him on his international professional golfing career. In the same year, Nashua’s schoolboy valentine TV advertisement is voted the world’s second most enjoyable ad at Cannes. The company’s public image, awareness and popularity are further enhanced through a pioneering foray into sport sponsorship. Nashua is the first company in its industry to establish an extensive branch network throughout Southern Africa that allows for the effective servicing of large companies. Nashua Corporation and its affiliates achieve a significant breakthrough in plain paper copying technology. The liquid toner transfer process is introduced which has several advantages over conventional methods of document preparation. Nashua Corporation establishes a South African subsidiary to market copiers and paper. The project enables young South Africans to develop critical skills through Sports development. Schools are given the opportunity to undertake a fully-fledged rugby training programme, with equipment and mentorship from sporting professionals. This empowers young people through a holistic development process, building future generations of world-class sporting heroes. Nashua is delighted once again to be the proud partner to the 2017 Currie Cup, after an exciting three year sponsorship agreement with SA Rugby last year. Nashua is proud to be the office solutions partner for the 2017 Cape Town Cycle Tour. We continued to bring efficiency to the registration process, to add our value to this momentous event. Participating Nashua employees joined teams from across Southern Africa and abroad at the iSimangaliso Wetland Park World Heritage Site. Beningfield started racing go karts when he was just 14 years old. Blackwood-Murray is sponsored by Nashua to fly at various Nashua events country wide, exposing his brilliant aerobatic stunts to large audiences. At the event, runners are showered by electric blue powder from Nashua’s giant inflatable printer, and can take pictures at the Nashua Blue Couch photo booth. The races are hosted in cities and towns across South Africa. With every event, they continue to improve their display and excite audiences. Our continued support of the Nashua skydiving team has allowed them to increase the amount of time they spend training, and ultimately enhanced their competitiveness and proficiency.
